Kamilah Frison

Kamilah is Director of Administration and Fiscal Affairs in the UAB Office of Research.  She is a vital business partner engaged in financial and administrative operation strategy, compliance, and efficiencies to ensure UAB’s strong financial position in supporting academic research.  She oversees the financial and human resources management for the Office of Research.

Kamilah’s career in research administration began in 2003 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in the Office of Research for School of Health and Human Sciences.  Since then, she has progressively advanced in her career. She previously served as a Financial Manager in the UAB O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Clinical Studies Unit.

Kamilah earned her Masters’ Degree in Management from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
