Tech Project Director | Academic Research Organization for Clinical Trials
Geoff Gordon, has been with UAB Health System Information Services (HSIS) for 26 years, beginning his career developing Horizon, UABHS’s first web-based ambulatory EHR. Currently, he serves as the Epic Research Workgroup leader and OnCore technical project manager for the Epic Journey project, focusing on implementing the Epic research module and integrating workflows between Epic and OnCore. His work includes configuring research functionality, building interfaces, and streamlining processes for study onboarding, patient enrollment, and research billing.
He holds an MSEE from UAB School of Engineering and a BA from Emory University. Before joining UAB, he worked for several commercial software development companies.
