Ms. Cooper supervises a staff of 27 in the OIRB. She is a member of Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R), the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) IRB Directors Forum.
Responsibilities
- Directs the planning, operations, and support of the IRB
- Ensures adherence to human subjects research regulations
- Oversees accreditation activities
- Acts as liaison with federal agencies
- Develops policies and procedures
