Regional Inservice Center - Region 5

Welcome to the The UAB Regional Inservice Center (UABRIC - Region 5)

The UAB Regional Inservice Center (UABRIC) is one of eleven Regional Inservice Centers across Alabama. These centers were created by the state legislature in 1984 with the mission to provide professional learning opportunities, training, and support to Alabama’s public educators. The eleven centers form the Alabama Regional Inservice Center network, or ARIC. Each ARIC site represents a partnership between K-12, higher education, and the Alabama State Department of Education. The regional in-service centers are housed at institutions of higher education across the state and serve a defined geographic area. Our primary mission is to support public educators through high-quality professional learning experiences. ARIC works for educators!
