Danielle JonesDanielle is a doctoral student in the Rehabilitation Science program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her MSPH in Epidemiology from the UAB School of Public Health and is currently a research assistant in the Exercise Neuroscience Lab (ENRL). Her prior research involved examining physical activity levels and executive function in adults with obesity. She also received a yearlong fellowship through the Albert Schweitzer Foundation where she led art therapy sessions with older adults in a nursing facility. Her primary research interests involve investigating the effects of exercise training and lifestyle interventions on cognitive impairment in people with multiple sclerosis. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys painting, drawing, leading art lessons, and spending time with her husband and nephews.
