The Department of Nutrition Sciences’ 2023 Chair’s Report covers a pivotal year of growth. The report introduces the new department chair and reveals details about a new metabolic kitchen. It will introduce you to a student who went from Saudi Arabia to Syria, then back to Saudi Arabia, and then on to Jordan, and finally to UAB – all in the name of education. And of course, the report highlights the accomplishments of the faculty, staff, alumni and students who make this the best department at UAB.
