Miscellaneous Information

Primary teaching content: Scientific Inquiry, Biomechanics of human movement

Primary research interests: Mechanisms for reduced mobility by older adults and indviduals with neurological disorders.  Particularly as it relates to dynamic instability and reduced respiratory fitness and the interplay with the very slow walking speed that is observed in these clinical populations.  The long range goal of this work is to design and test clinical interventions that improve these individuals functional mobility.
