Purpose

The Health Equity Simulation is an in silico, computer-based simulation intended to provide future and practicing health-care professionals the opportunity to understand health disparities. Health disparities are one of the most vexing problems we face in deliverying health care. 

Objectives

• Identify health inequities and connect to social determinants of health

• Discuss opportunities to change behavior related to health equity
