The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Career Center will host its Part-Time Job & Internship Blitz, giving students a firsthand opportunity to connect with employers offering a range of part-time positions and internships. The free event will take place Jan. 26-29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Performance Lounge of the Hill Student Center.

The blitz is designed to help students gain practical experience, build their résumés and explore employment options both on and off campus. Participating employers will rotate throughout the week, with different organizations featured each day.

Students are encouraged to research participating employers using UAB’s Handshake platform and prepare for meetings by reviewing résumé on the UAB Career Center Canvas Course as well as interview resources available through the Career Center.
