This February, the UAB Student & Family Engagement office partnered with the Blazer community to spread love across campus during the annual Valentine Sweet Treats fundraiser.

A total of 470 Valentine Sweet Treats were sold this year, marking a 28% increase over last year’s sales. Proceeds from the fundraiser directly support the UAB Little Blazer Wishes Fund. This annual Student Affairs initiative provides holiday gifts and support to UAB students with children.

Families and friends had the opportunity to send a sweet surprise to students, co-workers, and campus partners, along with a personalized message. This year’s offerings included classic cupcakes, specialty cupcakes, cake pops, and Crumbl Cookies, providing a variety of festive options for the campus community.

On-campus residents picked up their treats at the McMahon Hall Residence Hall Life Office. At the same time, off-campus students retrieved their packages at the Off-Campus Lounge in the Hill Student Center.

Through community generosity and collaborative campus partnerships, the Valentine Sweet Treats sale continues to strengthen support for Blazer families, proving that small gestures can make a lasting impact.
