Student Health Services (SHS) to host walk-in events for UAB students to receive their flu shots. Students must bring a valid OneCard and wear clothing that allows for easy access to the upper arm for vaccine administration.
Find a time that works for you:
Tuesday Oct. 10 and Wednesday Oct. 11
SHS will have walk-in availability at the Student Health & Wellness Center from 1 to 4:20 p.m. on both days. No appointment needed.
Tuesday Oct. 17
A mobile clinic will also be available at the Hill Student Center from 12 to 4 p.m. Find the clinic in the performance lounge.
UAB students can call (205) 934-3580 or make an appointment online through the secure patient portal if they cannot make these clinic dates. The patient portal allows students to schedule appointments for health and counseling services online and also features a secure messaging inbox.
How to schedule a flu shot appointment on the patient portal:
- Login to the portal with your BlazerID and password and select “schedule an appointment”
- Choose “health services”
- Choose “nurse visit”, and check the box for flu shot.
