UAB Student Health Services is Open

Student Health Services remains open during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.). We have adjusted our onsite staffing model to reduce exposure while also continuing to provide services onsite and remotely.


How to Access Student Health Services:

  • Flu Shots are now available!
  • Virtual Visits and Immunizations (including Flu Shots) are web bookable.
  • If you need an in-person visit, please call 205-934-3580 before coming in.
  • For more information on Virtual Visits, see "Telemedicine" on our services page.
  • For non-urgent issues, such as prescription refills and general questions, please call 205-934-3580, send an electronic refill request or send a secure message to our nursing staff or your provider through the patient portal. Messages and prescription refills will be completed within 3 business days.
  • If you have concerns about your health after hours, please contact University Paging at 205-934-3411 for the on-call provider. You will receive a call back within 30 minutes.
