Sophomores are in an odd place when they return for their second year of college. Freshmen classes are the focus of special welcoming initiatives, while third- and fourth-year students have likely discovered an academic path. Sophomores can find themselves rudderless and disengaged. That’s where UAB’s Second-Year Experience (SYE) program begins.

UAB Career & Professional Development invites all students to “find their match” this Valentine’s Day by exploring professional internships and full-time positions at the 2018 Business, Engineering and Technology Fair! The event is Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Hill Student Center ballrooms.

Are you ready for conference season? Conference Assistant applications open Jan 31 at 8 a.m. and are due by Feb 21 at 5 p.m.

Beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 30, UAB's Campus Recreation Center will begin their HealthyU Program. Participants will gain the tools to jump-start their journey of reaching their fitness goals.

Throughout the spring semester UAB Students will have the opportunity to rent a half locker at the Campus Recreation Center for only $20.
