Due to the threat of severe weather – and UAB's decision to alter operations – UAB Transportation announces the following service notices:

• UAB Transportation Office will close at 1:30 p.m.
• Motorist Assistance Roadside Service (MARS) will close at 1:30 p.m.
• Automotive Services will close at 1:30 p.m.

The following services will continue on their normal schedule as long as streets are safe for travel and there are no Tornado Warnings in the immediate campus vicinity:

• Blazer Express bus service
• Highlands Shuttle service
• Safety Escort

Express Lot 4 permit holders may park or move their vehicles to the 5^th or 6^th Avenue Parking Decks beginning at 2:00 PM – for today only.
