Annie P. and Ferris S. Ritchey Endowed Scholarship in Sociology

The Annie P. and Ferris S. Ritchey Endowed Scholarship in Sociology is named in memory of Ferris and Annie Ritchey. The scholarship is used to assist deserving students who are enrolled in the Department of Sociology at UAB with preference being given to first-year Sociology students.

Dr. Mike Wilson and Professor Becky Trigg Endowed Award

The Dr. Mike Wilson and Professor Becky Trigg Endowed Award is named in memory of Professor Becky Trigg and in honor of Dr. Mike Wilson for their dedication and commitment to improve the lives of women. This award is intended to provide financial assistance to students in the Women’s Studies Program to enable them to put their financial concerns aside while concentrating fully on their academic pursuits.
