Information:
Dr. Linville is a Teaching Assistant Professor of Forensic Science. He also serves as Director of the Master of Science in Forensic Science (MSFS)program, one of the oldest laboratory-based forensic science graduate training programs in the United States. The program was recently accredited by the American Academy of Forensic Science (AAFS) and is one of a handful of such programs in the country. He also oversees the department's Camp CSI Birmingham, an annual summer enrichment experience for high school students in grades 10-12.

Dr. Linville's teaching interests include
forensic biology, biological methods in forensic science, and criminalistics.
