Current Clinical Studies

The UAB Department of Dermatology is seeking patients for participation in clinical trials. All of our studies provide free medication and an evaluation by our dermatology staff. The following conditions are currently under study or will be starting soon.

• Childhood Acne
• Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL)
• Dysplastic Nevi
• Epidermolysis Bullosa
• Hand dermatitis
• Nail Psoriasis
• Onychomycosis (toenail fungus)
• Psoriasis
• Psoriatic Arthritis
• Sarcoidosis

We also have two long term follow up studies including:

• Atlas (for patients already on Amevive) and
• PSOLAR (for patients on biologic therapies for psoriasis)
