Trainees appointed to the T32 training program are supported both financially and scientifically through twelve month appointments with a maximum of two years for predoctoral trainees and three years for postdoctoral trainees.

• Stipend levels are in accordance with current NIH guidelines: Predoctoral (NOT-OD-16-047) and Postdoctoral (NOT-OD-17-003)

• Health insurance

• 60% of tuition and fees (predoctoral trainees)

• Travel expenses for one national meeting per year (maximum allowable determined annually based on available funds)

• Training-related expenses, such as supplies for research and educational purposes

• Translational research mentoring team comprised of the trainee’s primary mentor and two supporting faculty designed to offer a well-rounded approach to research and career progression
