The Clinical Informatics Journal Club will discuss cutting edge research in the field of clinical informatics, including (but not limited to) clinical information systems, electronic health records, decision support systems, and medical expert systems.  The objective is to understand that informatics is not just a field of solutions to be applied to biomedical problems but that it is a hypothesis-driven endeavor in its own right.

Each week, two participants will be discuss papers of their choosing (with approval of the Director) to summarize the work, place them in their historical context, and compare and contrast them to similar work.  All participants will critique of the science and implications of the papers.
