Kirklin Clinic
Fellows will maintain a biweekly continuity clinic in stroke at the Kirklin Clinic. Patients will include post stroke hospital follow ups and new referrals from the community. Frequently, referrals are for uncommon cerebrovascular disorders (cryptogenic stroke, vasculopathies, genetic conditions).
VA Stroke Clinic
Fellows will also have a biweekly continuity clinic at the VA, alternating with their Kirklin Clinic weeks. This clinic will focus on common stroke etiologies with an emphasis on vascular risk factor management.
