The UAB Department of Surgery is honored to announce the recent promotion of ten faculty members.
The following faculty members have been recognized for their many contributions to the department in the promotional process:
- Jamie Cannon, M.D., FACS - Professor
- Robert Cannon, M.D., FACS - Associate Professor
- Daniel Chu, M.D., MSPH, FACS, FASCRS - Professor
- Vikas Dudeja, M.D., FACS - Professor
- Rachael Lancaster, M.D., FACS - Associate Professor
- Paul MacLennan, Ph.D. – Professor
- J. Bart Rose, M.D., MAS, FACS – Associate Professor
- Robert Russell, M.D., MPH - Professor
- Emily Spangler, M.D., M.S., FACS - Associate Professor
- Benjamin Wei, M.D. - Professor
Drs. Robert Cannon, J. Bart Rose, and Emily Spangler were also awarded tenure through the promotion process.
