UAB Eye Care
Patients can receive 50 percent off frames by participating brands., the clinical arm of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, is hosting an Eyewear Trunk Show on Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The trunk show, which offers a discount on well-known brands, gives the community the chance to freshen up their eyewear with 50 percent off frames and lenses on participating brands when not using insurance.
This event is open to the public, and payroll deduction is available to UAB employees. Patients are encouraged to bring any updated prescriptions to best utilize the special offers. Patients who need a prescription can call 205-975-2020 to schedule an eye exam.
UAB Eye Care is located across from the School of Nursing in the Henry Peters Building at 1716 University Blvd.
