FreeAppWeek Fall23 550x413Entering first-time freshman, transfer and online students can apply at no cost to the University of Alabama at Birmingham during “Free App Week,” running from Oct. 16-20.

In an initiative that UAB hopes will provide increased access to prospective students who are seeking higher education, both in- and out-of-state students are eligible to submit applications with no associated fees during this week.

“In the college search process, an application fee may prevent a student from even considering a particular institution,” said Kathleen Stallings, executive director of Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarships at UAB. “Our intention for Free App Week is to encourage any student considering UAB to apply, helping them take the first step to becoming a Blazer.”
