An opening night reception to announce the 2012 UAB School of Medicine Art Show winners and a silent auction benefiting VSA Alabama, a statewide organization serving adults and children with disabilities, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, in the Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences. The artwork will be exhibited through May 11.
The exhibit comprises artwork from students, residents and faculty of the School of Medicine, and the top three winners will receive cash prizes. This marks the 12th year of the art show.
The Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences is on the third floor of the Lister Hill Library, 1700 University Blvd.
