The University of Alabama at Birmingham Collat School of Business now offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems (MSMIS) completely online.
The BSIS program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in information systems and business knowledge. Graduates will be well prepared for careers in emerging technical fields. The MSMIS program features advanced concentrations in IT management, information security and web and mobile development. The program is focused on developing heightened business sense, strategic management skills and a better understanding of emerging technologies. The Collat School of Business also offers its accounting program fully online. The accounting program, recently ranked seventh in the nation by the Open Education Database, is the highest ranked online accounting program in the Southeast.
