Cancer research and patient care
The grant will focus on developing novel, targeted, less toxic therapies for children with brain cancer.

Yang’s research focuses on a new class of drug PARP inhibitors that interfere with a cancer cell’s ability to repair DNA damage, hastening cell death.

The historic opening is the culmination of a $30 million renovation project to interactive, multidisciplinary environment that fosters increased collaborative efforts and scientific breakthroughs.
