The all-female chamber group, best known for presenting new works in diverse settings, is set to perform works by Ned Rorem, Evan K. Chambers and Joan Tower.

Kasman will perform Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich trios Jan. 26, and give preconcert talks prior to performances Feb. 5-6 as part of “Russian Moods.”

Community sewing days at UAB began Jan. 22 at ArtPlay and will continue Jan. 29 and Feb. 27 with the UAB Department of Art and Art History at AEIVA.
