Diana Krall brings “Wallflower” to UAB’s Alys Stephens Center on April 20

diana krall webFive-time Grammy-winning jazz pianist and vocalist Diana Krall will return to the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center on Monday, April 20, to showcase her latest album, “Wallflower.”

“Wallflower” is a refreshing and collaborative effort that reflects Krall in a gorgeous new light. On it, she has recorded a collection of songs from the 1960s to today, including The Mamas and the Papas’ “California Dreamin’,” Eagles’ “Desperado,” and favorite vintage songs by her musical heroes Bob Dylan and Elton John. “Wallflower” is her 12th studio album.
