British statistician Sir David Cox will be present for a celebration for Nengjun Yi, Ph.D., who was appointed to the Sir David Cox Endowed Professorship in Biostatistics in the UAB School of Public Health during the April 2011 meeting of the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees.
