Kirk appointed to endowed chair of biomedical research

Kevin L. Kirk, Ph.D., has been appointed to an endowed chair in biomedical research.

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Kevin L. Kirk, Ph.D., to the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation Endowed Chair in Biomedical Research in the UAB School of Medicine during its meeting Nov. 3, 2011. Kirk completed his postdoctoral work in UAB’s nephrology research and training center, where he received a National Institutes of Health individual postdoctoral award.
