(Hon.) as distinguished professor of anesthesiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) during its meeting Feb. 8, 2013. Matalon is the Alice McNeal, M.D., endowed chair and vice chair for research in the Department of Anesthesiology and directs the Pulmonary Injury and Repair Center.
