UAB professor named to prestigious board

Grace Jepkemboi, Ph.D., assistant professor of early childhood education in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, has been elected as a member-at-large of the board of directors for the Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI). The organization consists of educators and advocates from across the globe with a mission to exchange information, explore innovation and advocate for children.

In addition to serving ACEI, Jepkemboi is the founder of the Kenya Heritage Foundation, a non-profit organization that serves Kenyan families affected by HIV/AIDS.
