The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Yehia Massoud, Ph.D, to the Wallace R. Bunn Chair in Telecommunications in the UAB School of Engineering during its meeting Nov. 5, 2010.
Massoud, who received his doctorate in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has developed an international reputation in the area of modeling and design of grapheme and nanotube-based devices for emerging computing applications.
