Polar biologist James McClintock, Ph.D., of the UAB Department of Biology, will speak at the Birmingham Audubon Society’s annual holiday dinner. The public event will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 5, at The Club. Click for ticket details.
McClintock will discuss “From Plankton to Penguins: The Impacts of Climate Change along the Antarctic Peninsula.” He is the Polar and Marine Biology Endowed Professor at UAB and author of the book “Lost Antarctica — Adventures in a Disappearing Land.”
