The staff at UAB Medicine Lee Branch Primary and Specialty Care will see adult patients for a wide range of non-emergency medical conditions.

UAB Medicine Lee Branch Primary and Specialty Care will continue to provide primary care services and has now expanded its services to include specialty care such as endocrinology, nephrology and pain management. In the future, its services will include rheumatology, podiatry and behavioral health. The clinic has 22 exam rooms and is equipped to provide mammograms, digital X-rays and lab work to patients.

“UAB Medicine Primary and Specialty Care has served patients in the Inverness Hoover area for more than 28 years, and we are thrilled to be able to move to a larger clinic space that will help us expand upon the services we currently provide to these patients, including more access to primary care,” said Irfan Asif, M.D., Primary Care Service Line director and chair of the UAB Department of Family and Community Medicine

The clinic has nearly doubled its number of primary care providers and will now provide specialty services every day for patients. The larger ambulatory lab allows the clinic to conduct lab work for UAB Medicine patients across the community.

Located in the Lee Branch Shopping Center off U.S. Highway 280, the clinic is part of a network of convenient satellite clinics throughout central Alabama. The clinic address is 220 Doug Baker Blvd., #100, Birmingham, AL 35242. To make an appointment, call 205-981-3040.
