UAB Alumni honors Excellence in Business Top 25 award winners

The UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 award program identifies, recognizes and celebrates the success of the top 25 businesses owned or operated by UAB alumni.

NAS Excellence AwardsThe University of Alabama at Birmingham National Alumni Society honored its second annual Excellence in Business Top 25 2014 award winners with a luncheon Friday, March 7, at the Alumni House.

The UAB Excellence in Business Top 25 award program identifies, recognizes and celebrates the success of the top 25 UAB alumni-owned or UAB alumni-operated businesses. Nominated companies are ranked by set award criteria: Each must have been in operation a minimum of 36 months, have verifiable revenue of at least $150,000 in the last 12-month period, and be owned, operated, or founded and managed by an alumnus of UAB.

Additionally, the top three fastest-growing companies among the honorees were recognized at the event. They were determined based on cumulative growth percentages of revenue over the three most recent reporting periods. The fastest-growing UAB business was J.O. Rodgers and Associates, Management Consultants; the second-fastest-growing business was Integrative Logic, A division of Luckie & Co.; and the third-fastest-growing company was Fravert Services Inc.
