The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Nengjun Yi, Ph.D., to the Sir David Cox Professorship in Biostatistics in the UAB School of Public Health during its meeting April 8, 2011. Yi earned his doctorate from the Nanjing Forestry, P.R. China, in 1996 and joined the UAB faculty in 2002.
