Sarah Parcak, Ph.D., associate professor of anthropology in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences, will be featured in the documentary “Egypt: What Lies Beneath?” at 8 p.m. CST. Oct. 9 on the Discovery Channel.
The show is a part of the TV series “Curiosity,” hosted by actor Brendan Fraser. Parcak will reveal ancient finds that she discovered in Egypt using satellite imagery.
