The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Coral Lamartiniere, Ph.D., professor emeritus of pharmacology and toxicology in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology in the UAB Schools of Medicine and Dentistry during its meeting Feb. 4, 2011. Lamartiniere received his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and joined the UAB faculty in 1986.
