SOPH to observe National Public Health Week with day of events

National Public Health Week presents an opportunity for public health and clinical health professionals to help individuals and communities navigate the changing world of public health.

The first full week of April each year is recognized as National Public Health Week, and the SOPH is observing this with events that feature engaging speakers and up-close looks at the commitment to scientific discovery of SOPH students and faculty.

Public Health Research Day Awards Ceremony
12-1 p.m.; UAB Recreation Center

Wicked Problem Case Competition
12:30-4 p.m.; Ryals Public Health Building

Koronisfest/AlPHA Reception
5:30 p.m.; The Edge of Chaos at the Lister Hill Library

The Alabama Public Health Association's annual meeting will take place at UAB from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
