The University of Alabama at Birmingham Collat School of Business now will offer a graduate certificate program in social media. The four-course program will emphasize new and emerging technologies and educate students and working professionals on how to use social media to communicate with stakeholders.
The courses required for the certificate include:
- MBA 615 Social Media and Virtual Communities in Business
- MBA 616 Web Analytics
- MBA 617 Intro to Business Intelligence
- One social media course from any graduate program at UAB, approved by advisor
The certificate program is open to anyone with a bachelor’s degree and a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher. Students with a GPA less than 3.0 can submit a GMAT score of 480 or higher. Those interested are asked to call the UAB Graduate School of Management at 205-934-8817.
