The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Virginia Bonds Black Endowed Nursing Scholarship and the Seth Houston McCoin, Jr., and Elizabeth Morgan McCoin Endowed Scholarship in Pediatric Nursing in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing during its meeting April 12, 2013.
The scholarships will be named in honor of Virginia Bonds Black and Seth Houston McCoin, Jr., and Elizabeth Morgan McCoin.
