The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees has approved the establishment of the Leonardo Art and Engineering graduate certificate at its Feb. 4, 2011, meeting. The certificate is a collaboration between the Department of Art and Art History in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering. The program requires 12 hours of course work and six hours of interdisciplinary project; it will be offered in fall 2011.
