As a online student at UAB you will receive the same excellent education as a student taking courses in person on the UAB campus. All online courses are offered through UAB, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accredited institution, with additional discipline-specific accreditations as appropriate. As part of our commitment to providing quality education, we subscribe to Quality Matters (QM) and the Online Learning Consortium (OLC). These organizations provide resources, training, and other tools to help our faculty develop online and blended courses that meet the organizations' high standards.
