The UAB School of Optometry is one of few optometry schools that is fully integrated into an academic health center, offering opportunities to collaborate with colleagues from across our campus network and beyond. The School ranks second for faculty diversity among optometry schools, ranks 2nd in NEI/NIH research funding and is the only optometry school offering an OD/MBA dual degree.
