This page will facilitate your drug and/or supply order, answer any question(s) that may arise, provide dosages for commonly used drugs for most of the major species on campus and provide a list of our commonly stocked drugs.

The Animal Resources Program (ARP) veterinary staff provides commonly used drug(s) or supplies to UAB investigators as a convenience. Drugs or supplies may only be used in UAB IACUC approved procedures. Only pharmaceutical grade drugs may be administered to animals.

To order drugs or supplies, please complete the Order Form and email (arpvetstaff@uab.edu) or fax (205-934-7912) the form to our office.

When orders have been filled, a technician will email the investigator and/or contact person and notify them that the order is ready to be picked up. Orders may be picked up VH B003 Tuesday 9am-11am and Friday from 12pm-2pm.  Orders will only be released to the investigator or contact person with photo identification.
