La Leyenda de Blaze
Blaze viene de un planeta extremadamente lejos que nadie nunca ha escuchado o visto con sus propios ojos. Su planeta se llama Plutongo, un planeta bien similar a Plutón, la única diferencia es que se puede respirar como en el planeta Tierra. Plutongo está cerca de lo que nosotros llamamos el agujero negro donde el tiempo no existe y nadie se atreve a atravesarlo. En Plutongo habían dinosaurios, dragones, un mutante gigante llamado Godzilla y diferentes tipos de especies que ellos usaban para alimentarse. Blaze nació 100 años después de la era de Godzilla; ella era mitad dinosaurio y mitad dragón, mejor llamado dinodragón. Los recursos en Plutongo se estaban acabando y la gente se estaba muriendo. Godzilla se estaba aprovechando de sus poderes y estaba matando a todo el mundo por comida, así que los dragones y dinosaurios se unieron para detener a Godzilla. Después de varios encuentros de batallas los dragones y dinosaurios empezaron a perder demasiada populación, así fue que se les ocurrió usar el agujero negro para sacar a Godzilla de su planeta. Blaze sabía que la única manera de salir de Plutongo es usando el agujero negro, pero nadie además de Godzilla lo había tratado. Blaze fue la única persona valiente suficiente para hacerlo y después de estar perdida entre tiempo y espacio ella se estrelló en el planeta tierra como un meteorito. Blaze estaba muy herida pero después de unos años ella se puso fuerte y empezó a volar. Un día Blaze estaba volando por Japón y vio a Godzilla aterrorizando al país y comiéndose a las personas. Mientras Blaze miraba, ella se dio cuenta de que el agujero negro los había llevado al mismo planeta. Blaze atacó a Godzilla y tuvieron múltiples batallas después de ese encuentro. Al final, Blaze destruyó a Godzilla utilizando fuego, su ataque más poderoso.
Después de toda la violencia Blaze buscó retirarse y encontró su “Sweet Home
Alabama”. Eventualmente murió en Birmingham. Dicen que la razón que Birmingham tuvo tan buenos recursos de hierro es porque los huesos de Blaze estaban hechos de hierro. Esta es la razón por la cual tenemos a Blaze como nuestra mascota de UAB.

Blaze comes from a planet extremely far away that nobody has ever seen or heard of. Her planet is called Plutongo, very similar to the planet we know as Pluto, but the only difference was that they had breathable air over there just like we do in earth. Plutongo is near what we call the Black Hole were time doesn’t really exist and nobody has ever gone thru. In Plutongo there were dinosaurs, dragons, a giant Mutant called Godzilla and different species they all fed on. Godzilla was taking advantage of his powers and was killing everybody for food, so the dragons and dinosaurs began an alliance to try to stop Godzilla. After various encounters the dragons and dinosaurs began to lose too many of their own, so they came up with a plan to exile Godzilla from the planet using the Black Hole. After achieving their plan Plutongo was finally safe from Godzilla. Blaze was born 100 years after era of Godzilla; she was half dinosaur and half dragon, better known as Dinodragons. The resources were becoming scarce in Plutongo so everybody was dying or fighting each to survive. Blaze knew that the only way out of Plutongo was using the Black Hole, but nobody other than Godzilla has ever attempted it. Blaze was the only brave one that tried and after being lost in-between time and space she crashed into earth like a meteorite. She was very injured but as years passed by she became stronger and was able to fly. One day as Blaze was flying over what we know as Japan she saw Godzilla, terrorizing the country and feeding over people. As she was looking at these, Blaze realizes that the Black Hole took them to the same planet. Blaze attacks Godzilla and they had many other battles after that. Finally Blaze destroyed Godzilla using Fire, her most powerful type of attack. Blaze looking to retire from all the violence finds Sweet Home Alabama and eventually dies in what we call Birmingham. So they say that the reason Birmingham’s major resource was steel is because Blaze’s bones where made of steel. And that is why we have Blaze as our mascot at UAB.
