Meet the Therapists
Melody Lake
Melody Lake is a graduate of the Birmingham School of Massage and is licensed by the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy (#4773). Her expertise lies in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai Yoga Massage, and Neuromuscular Therapy. Her primary interest is to help her clients achieve wellness in body and mind through deep relaxation so they can enjoy rich, fulfilling, and pain free lives.
Donita Reed, LMT
Donita is a 2006 graduate of Virginia College in Birmingham, AL. She has been practicing massage therapy for over 10 years. Her work is often described as intuitive and nurturing.
Her predominant method is Swedish Massage but she also incorporates deep tissue therapy work when needed depending on the client’s preference. She is certified in Reflexology and has continuing education in sports and prenatal massage.
First and foremost, Donita’s focus is on respecting her client’s needs whether they visit for relaxation or therapeutic purposes.
April E. Henderson, LMT, NMT
April is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 14 years. After receiving her BS in Biology at the University of Montevallo, she attended Virginia College at Birmingham to train as a Massage Therapist. After completing her studies, she was appointed to the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy (2003-2008). April has been trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Pregnancy, and Sports Massage.
