Dragon Naturally Speaking
from Nuance offers speech recognition software.  This software allows one to control a PC through the use of a microphone.

 

Duxbury Braille Translator offered by Duxbury Systems Inc. allows a user to translate a text document into Braille. When used in conjunction with a Braille embosser a user can translate and then print text pages.

Kurzweil 3000 from Kurzweil Educational Systems is a comprehensive reading, writing and learning software solution for any struggling reader, including individuals with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, attention deficit disorder.  

JAWS by Freedom Scientific is a popular screen reading software. JAWS uses an internal speech synthesizer and the computer sound card to read information from the computer screen aloud.

ZoomText by ai squared is a screen magnification tool.  ZoomText offers a combination of Screen magnification and text to speech.
