Maybe you know what you want to study and maybe not — but whether you're interested in anthropology or neuroscience or almost anything in between, we know you'll find what you're looking for here. You can chose majors in the arts or in the sciences, pursue interdisciplinary majors that combine the two, and even design your own major with the help of our faculty.

The College of Arts and Sciences offers 24 majors (with even more concentrations) through 19 departments and 4 interdisciplinary programs. In addition, there are 43 minors you can use to help round out your studies — these can compliment your career goals or give you the chance to study another field you're intrigued by.

Finding the right major can be intimidating — it influences what jobs you can get and what graduate programs you can apply for. Sometimes it isn't obvious which major your interests fit or what sort of job you'll get with the major you're interested in. We can help!

Are you looking for a way to expand your studies and maybe make yourself a great catch for that future employer or graduate school? Take a look at the colleges' 43 minors. We can help you decide what minor to pair with your major to give your future career a boost.

Whatever subject you're interested in, CAS Advising will work with you to ensure that you leave the college with an education that will help you excel in your career. You can find detailed descriptions of our majors and minors on our department websites.
